While browsing through vimeo earlier today, I stumbled upon this interesting clip about the Marie Claire’s iPad app. Taking one step further beyond the magazine form, the app feature animated cover and a cool new feature of purchasing anything that the model wears in the featured video editorial.
I believe that this is the right step in magazine publication as we move away or diversify from print form. Not only it is interactive, but it is beneficial to the publishers in setting their metrics of what works and what not judging by the response they get from the app.
